Across the Atlantic, Balfour Beatty Rail Inc. delivered the landmark Caltrain 25 kV AC Electrification Project in California—converting 51 miles of commuter railway from diesel to electric traction—along with major light rail and commuter transit lines for Denver RTD, Charlotte Area Transit, and the Boston MBTA Green Line Extension. In London, the firm delivered complex underground station fit-outs and railway systems across Whitechapel and Woolwich stations on the Elizabeth Line.
