Pandrol
Engineering the future of rail
World-renowned railway infrastructure engineering and manufacturing enterprise providing track fastening assemblies, aluminothermic welding, noise and vibration mitigation, and electrification systems across 100+ countries.
About Pandrol
Founded in 1937 in the United Kingdom as the Elastic Spike Company and revolutionized by the invention of the resilient spring clip (the iconic Pandrol PR Clip) in the late 1950s by Norwegian railway engineer Per Pande-Rolfsen, Pandrol is globally recognized as the pioneer of modern resilient rail fastenings. A member of the French industrial group Delachaux, Pandrol operates manufacturing facilities, R&D centers, and sales networks spanning over 40 countries, with a global team of more than 1,700 rail infrastructure specialists.
Pandrol designs and manufactures critical track infrastructure components: resilient rail fastening systems (Fastclip, e-Clip, Vanguard, DFC), aluminothermic welding kits and automated equipment, under-tie/under-sleeper pads (USP), ballast mats, composite insulated rail joints (IRJ), electrification catenary fittings, rigid overhead conductor-rail systems, and track-handling equipment.
Pandrol systems secure trackwork across the world’s major networks, including high-speed lines in France (TGV/LGV), Spain (AVE), China, and Japan, heavy-haul mining railroads across Australia and North America, and urban metros including London Underground, New York City Transit, Paris Métro, Singapore MRT, and Delhi Metro.
