Bozankaya is a Turkish transport technology and rolling stock manufacturer specialising in metro trains, low-floor trams and other sustainable public transport vehicles. Its rail vehicles are designed and manufactured at its major production and R&D facility in Ankara.
About Bozankaya A.Ş.
Bozankaya was founded in Germany in 1989 as an R&D company and expanded its activities in Türkiye in 2003. Today, the company develops and manufactures sustainable public transport vehicles, including metro trains, trams, trambuses and electric buses.
Its Ankara production centre covers approximately 100,000 m², while the company reports around 1,400 employees and 150 R&D engineers. Bozankaya has developed Türkiye’s first indigenous low-floor tram and bogie and has delivered rail vehicles to domestic and international markets.
Its international rail portfolio includes projects in Thailand and Romania, alongside projects across Türkiye and an expanding European order book. Bozankaya previously manufactured metro trains for Bangkok and is continuing its involvement in the city through its cooperation with Siemens Mobility.
