SIFER is France’s premier international exhibition dedicated to railway technology, infrastructure, and rolling stock. Held biennially at Lille Grand Palais in the heart of the Hauts-de-France railway cluster, the three-day event brings together passenger and freight operators (including SNCF and RATP), government transport organizing authorities, civil infrastructure contractors, and global systems suppliers. The technical exhibition and conferences focus on high-speed rail network modernization, regional train fleet renewal, automated signalling and European Train Control System (ETCS) rollout, catenary and traction power efficiency, and circular maintenance technologies. The event serves as the central French forum for B2B industrial networking, public-private partnership procurement, and whole-life infrastructure asset decarbonization.
