Vietnam’s North–South High-Speed Railway will create a new high-speed passenger rail backbone between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, connecting major economic and urban centres along the country’s north–south corridor. The programme is one of Southeast Asia’s largest planned transport investments and will involve extensive civil works, stations, railway systems, rolling stock and supporting infrastructure, creating significant opportunities for the international rail supply chain.
