AECOM is seeking and experienced Engineering Manager to join our Rail team in Ireland. This is a pivotal moment for the development of the rail network in the country, as there is a strong, recognised commitment to delivering transformational projects that will usher in a new era for rail across the island.
In this role, you will lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary engineering teams, driving projects through the entire project lifecycle. You will engage with landmark programs focused on the electrification of the rail network, the redevelopment of existing lines, and various network improvement initiatives. Your efforts will support the delivery of nationally significant projects—endeavors that will shape Ireland’s transport landscape for generations to come.
Qualifications

We recognise a variety of experience, and backgrounds may suit this role and that experience levels in specific technical areas may vary.
- Chartered or Incorporated Engineer CEng / Ieng or working towards this status.
- Recognised engineering qualification or preferably a degree in Engineering.
- Has performed role of Design Engineering Manager in multiple scenarios
- Strong technical leadership of Design teams in the delivery of projects focused on delivering for the Client.
- Knowledge of system design interfaces and experience in technical engineering leadership which impact on discipline design principles and demonstrable experience of the successful management of interfaces within projects.
- People management skills
