Job Description
The Project Director will provide strategic leadership across the full railway project lifecycle, ensuring delivery in accordance with programme, budget, contractual, safety, quality, environmental and regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities include leading the end-to-end delivery of systems integration and Platform Screen Door works, establishing project governance and reporting arrangements, managing clients and key stakeholders, overseeing budgets and contracts, managing project risks, supervising engineering and construction activities, and leading testing, commissioning and handover.
The position also requires leadership of multidisciplinary and multicultural teams and representation of the organisation at executive-level meetings, steering committees and project reviews.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Railway Systems Integration activities.
- Lead turnkey Platform Screen Doors (PSD) delivery.
- Manage design, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning.
- Establish project governance, KPIs and reporting.
- Manage clients, government agencies, regulators, contractors and consultants.
- Oversee project budgets, forecasts and financial performance.
- Manage contracts, claims, negotiations and disputes.
- Identify and mitigate project risks.
- Provide engineering and construction leadership.
- Ensure compliance with railway safety, quality and regulatory requirements.
- Lead multidisciplinary project teams.
- Manage project handover and transition to operations and maintenance.
Candidate Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant engineering discipline.
Experience:
15+ years of experience in major infrastructure, transportation or railway projects.
Rail Experience:
Proven leadership experience on major Railway, Metro, LRT, MRT or High-Speed Rail projects.
Technical Knowledge:
Strong understanding of:
