Lead configuration and change management for landmark rail projects in Saudi Arabia, shaping delivery, governance, and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
Kingdom of Saudi Arabia | Full Time – On-Site
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead Configuration and Change Management activities throughout the project lifecycle.
· Establish and maintain Configuration Management Plans, Change Management procedures, and configuration baselines.
· Manage engineering and project changes, ensuring proper evaluation, approval, implementation, and documentation.
· Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to maintain configuration consistency across all project deliverables.
· Manage configuration records, change registers, and status accounting reports with full project traceability.
· Facilitate Change Control Board (CCB) meetings and coordinate change approvals with stakeholders.
· Assess the technical, commercial, schedule, and operational impacts of proposed changes.
· Ensure compliance with client requirements, international railway standards, and Sener quality procedures.
· Support project audits and drive continuous improvement in configuration and change management practices.
· Mentor team members and provide technical leadership throughout project delivery.
Role Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.
· Minimum 15 years of overall professional experience.
· Minimum 10 years of mandatory Rail & Metro experience.
· Proven experience leading Configuration and Change Management for complex Rail & Metro infrastructure projects.
· Strong knowledge of configuration management, change control, systems engineering, and project governance.
· Experience managing Configuration Management Plans, Change Registers, and Configuration Baselines.
· Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout all project phases.
· Proficiency with document and configuration management systems such as Aconex, ProjectWise, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), or similar platforms.
· Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
· Fluent in English.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Saudi Nationals are preferred; expatriate candidates are also encouraged to apply.
· Experience working with international engineering consultancies.
· Familiarity with GCC railway standards and Saudi regulations.
· Professional certifications such as CMII, PMP, or equivalent are an advantage.
· Experience implementing digital engineering and configuration management systems.
