What will you do?

OCS Engineering & Design

• Review and support OCS design, layout drawings, calculations, and technical specifications.
• Ensure compliance with project requirements, applicable standards, and client specifications.
• Coordinate design activities with engineering and system integration teams.

Project Execution Support

• Support installation, erection, and commissioning of OCS systems.
• Monitor site activities to ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and procedures.
• Provide technical support for construction and site‑related issues.

Interface Coordination

• Coordinate with Civil, Track, Traction Power Supply, Signaling, Rolling Stock, and SCADA teams.
• Ensure effective management of system interfaces and resolution of technical issues.

Testing & Commissioning

• Support OCS testing, inspection, energization, and commissioning activities.
• Verify system performance and compliance with technical and safety requirements.
• Assist in preparation of testing and commissioning documentation.

Quality, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with quality standards, HSE requirements, and project procedures.
• Participate in site inspections, audits, and safety reviews.
• Promote safe working practices during installation and testing activities.

Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare engineering reports, technical submittals, and progress updates.
• Maintain project records, drawings, inspection reports, and technical documentation.

Experience, Education and other Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Overall 15‑18 years experience in Electrical Infrastructure Projects with minimum 7 years of relevant experience Overhead catenary system for Traction Power Projects.
• Experience in OCS design, installation, testing, and commissioning is preferred.
• Technical Knowledge: Overhead Contact Systems (OCS), Traction Power Supply Systems, Earthing & Bonding, Testing & Commissioning, Railway Electrification Standards, Rail System Interfaces.
• Good understanding of rail project HSE requirements and safe work practices.
• Preferred Industry Experience: Metro Rail, Railway Electrification, Urban Transit, High‑Speed Rail, and Transportation Infrastructure Projects.
